Are you looking for a sweet girl who will sit with you, cuddle and love you to pieces? Check out Jesse. Jesse is 10 years old and is being fostered in Oregon, WI (the Madison, WI area).
Jesse has a health issue that is managed with special food and medication. The details are in the medical section of her bio. She is doing really well and this does not slow her down at all.
Jesse is in a foster home with another dachshund and a yellow lab. She does fine with both dogs. She loves to be outside and go for walks. She does have a high prey drive. Watch out bunnies! For this reason, Jesse really should go to a home with a fenced in yard. Jesse also eats the poop of other dogs.
Jesse does like to play with toys from time to time. She does shred the stuffed toys.
She is shy and wary at first. Young children make her nervous. She is not a big barker unless a visitor enters the home or young children are present.
Jesse is crate trained and housebroken.
Jesse really is a sweetheart looking for a family to love.
