Thanks MWDR for my little friend Scout! I’ve had her one year now. She’s my first-ever dog and I’m loving it. I looked for a dog for years, afraid of the commitment and the unknown. I’d browse all sorts of rescue sites almost daily for years, and when I found little Scout on your page. I knew she was my dog. She was so cute and had the best brown nose.

The MWDR team was wonderful in getting all the steps done in a matter of six days. She loved me and was attached from the start. I think she could tell how much I wanted her and eased into her new life with no problem. After she realized they weren’t a threat and that I have two petting hands, she warmed up to the cats and they’re now just fine together.

She’s become much better with other dogs (and is actually friends with the neighbor dogs and her pug cousins, and will even let other dogs come and say "hello"). She has grown a lot of new, beautiful fur. People often comment on how soft she is. She loves doing things with her mama -– we go to the doggie beach, I’ve found numerous outdoor restaurants where she’s welcome, we go to see “grandma” in the suburbs, and this past summer we went camping.

People have told me that Scout and I were meant to be, and I know it’s true. Thanks so much for your time and dedication
